I have had the pleasure of staying at this condo several times. It’s well laid out, super neat and clean, beautiful, has a bbq pit on the back balcony (which is awesome), all the kitchen utensils you need in a regular home so you don’t have to tote them. Listen if you want to sleep like a baby, the beds in this condo are top of the line and better than my bed at home. Bedrooms are huge, bathrooms huge, and let me say, the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean is off the charts. The pool is gorgeous and huge, easy to walk to the beach and the game room with the mini movie theater is awesome!!!
Best place to stay on the island. Isla por la vida!
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at The Sapphire, 603 in Nov. 2015. We felt fortunate to find a beautiful two bedroom condo at The Sapphire just after we cancelled our reservations at a local hotel because the room did not meet our expectations.
Upon entering The Sapphire we were impressed with the beautiful decor, cleanliness, and upscale atmosphere. It was nothing like a hotel, the front desk was more of a concierge service. Onsite was a rental office where we met Esperanza. She showed us the available condo and offered other options if it did not meet our expectations. She was especially helpful and we took the first condo she showed us, 603. The furnishings were in good condition and the view over the resort pool and neighboring facility was lovely. The condo was roomy, quiet and very private. The kitchen was updated and the entire condo was very clean.
A nice touch was the coffee in the cabinet and the big basket of goodies when we checked in. After traveling several hours it was nice to have a variety of snacks to munch on. They also provided us with beach towels to use.
We used the game room, pool, and hot tub. All were in excellent condition. We also spent an afternoon at the spa. Mimosas were a nice touch there.
We were celebrating a couple of special occasions and the condo leasing team of Esperanza and Annabell made our stay incredible. They surprised us with fresh flowers a a bottle of our favorite wine. They always asked if we needed anything and greeted us each time we passed by. They provided outstanding customer service and really made our visit wonderful.
We have stayed at two other facilities on South Padre and we highly recommend The Sapphire.
We flew down from San Diego to have a Happy time with our beloved family, who happen to be…the owners of the place (yep, Nel, that’s you!). But from an outsiders standpoint (since I am not officially part of the family yet, even though the love is there Nel) the pace is beautiful. The decorating is exquisite- every room has the feel of an elegant palace and the kitchen and silverware and appliances are top notch. So clean and pristine. And thank you for leaving the puzzle! A real joy. Recommendations for food: Sacampi’s at sunset – get there before sunset (like 25 min.) and sit outside, not a wait at all on a Saturday night! Do this- teat yourself.
If you go to Daddy’s, eat the tails of the crawfish only. I ate the head and I was like this 🙁
Thank you again Mostows! My love to you and we know we will be back many, many, many times. After all, this was only my first time at the new place!
Thanks for opening your home away from home to us. We loved the views from the balconies. We enjoyed many restaurants but our favorites were all run by the same guy-“Al” Big Donkey, Daddy’s, Dirty Al’s and Pelican Station. If you have children, they will enjoy the Pirate cruise and seeing the sea turtles at the rescue. We enjoyed driving on the beach norht of SPI at low tide (many great shell a few miles out) Now we need to head back to Iowa and the snow. The Henrichs from Iowa
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful Condo with us. We had a great time. We loved eating at Louie’s Backyard. Great food and great drinks (Charlie’s Cherry) If you have kids we recommend going to Que Padre and buying a shrimp sucker. Fridays are great nights to eat at Louie’s or sunset sail to see the beautiful sunset and watch the fireworks show. Thanks again. We had so much fun we stayed an extra night! My wife, daughter and I could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Great accommodations and wonderful view. We look forward to a “next time.” The Farris, Granbury, Tx.
Came down to get away from Iowa’s winter. Very nice condition. Love the views. Hoping for warmer weather. On cold days you should check out Port Isabel’s Library, great books you can check out to pass the time on the chilly days. Went out to Bayside deck on the railing sat a hawk with yellow marking’s we were only 12-15 ft. away from the hawk, wish I had a camera. So don’t be surprised if you have a visitor on the bayside!
This is a Peregrine Falcon! We saw him almost everyday!
My Grandma and grandpa take me, my cousin Haley, and my sister Mady. This year, Mady didn’t come because she’s in Tennessee. My grandparents try to take us every year. 1602 is the room we mainly rent out because it’s a nice place and a great view! This place is wonderful and I love it. It’s warm and cozy and feels like home! Thank you so much! Kylie
Mostows, South Padre Island, Birds, the best accommodations with friends, great food, places to go and see, unbelievable birds, wonderful pure relaxation, hospitality beyond 5 star. Just plain old terrific. Shrimp 3 ways, Golf, Ted’s Breakfast, Liam’s Dinner and of course Inca’s dinner. Wow. Texas here we come. Need to stay much longer, too much to see and do. Saw 70+ bird species, baby alligator, butterflies, nature at her finest. Words can’t do South Padre justice. Thank you Nelson & Inca for having us. You’ll have to put up with us again as we will return like the birds we saw. Scott & Sandi
